
Return policy and warranty

This Limited Warranty describes your rights if a manufacturing defect appears in your Mateo Moretti watch.
It applies to watches purchased directly from www.mateomoretti.com and delivered within the United States.
This policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service.
1) What this Limited Warranty covers
We warrant that your watch will be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from the original purchase date.
Covered components include the watch movement and internal components necessary for timekeeping under normal intended use.
2) What this Limited Warranty does not cover
This warranty does not cover:
- Water damage beyond rating or any moisture ingress from improper use.
- Normal wear and tear (including scratches; fading or discoloration of case/plating; strap, bracelet, clasp; crystal; crown; cosmetic changes).
- Batteries (consumable).
- Accident, misuse, neglect, shocks/impacts, sand/dust contamination, exposure to chemicals/solvents, or unauthorized service/repairs/modifications.
- Loss, theft, or damage while not in our possession (including transit to us using your chosen carrier).
Water Resistance Notice (3 ATM): Our 3 ATM watches are splash-resistant only (hand-washing/light rain).
Not suitable for showering, swimming, sauna, hot water, or submersion. Water damage under such conditions is not covered.
3) Exclusive remedy
If a covered defect arises within the warranty period, we will, at our option, repair the watch or replace it with the same model or a comparable model if the original is unavailable.
Replaced parts or products may be new or refurbished and become our property. Refunds are not a warranty remedy unless required by law.
4) How to make a warranty claim (U.S.)
Email info@mateomoretti.com with your order number, photos/video of the issue, and a brief description.
If your claim appears eligible, we’ll issue instructions (and, if applicable, a return authorization).
You may be asked to ship the watch to our service partner for inspection.
You are responsible for shipping the watch to us using a secure, preferably insured method.
For approved warranty claims, we will cover return shipping back to you within the U.S.
If the issue is not a covered defect (e.g., accidental damage or wear), we’ll notify you with available paid repair or return un-repaired options.
5) Warranty period and proof of purchase
Coverage runs 12 months from the purchase date shown on your original receipt/order confirmation.
You must provide proof of purchase. Warranty is available to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
6) Additional terms & legal rights
This Limited Warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty from Mateo Moretti.
To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all other warranties (including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose).
We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages (loss of time, loss of use, loss of profits), except where such limitation is prohibited.
Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of incidental/consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary by state. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights.
